BTC Calgary 2026
My work with Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) has shaped how I approach teaching and learning. I focus on creating classrooms where students collaborate, ask questions, take risks, and make their thinking visible. BTC has encouraged me to rethink traditional classroom routines and create more opportunities for students to learn from one another and see themselves as capable thinkers and problem-solvers.
Art Education
My background in art education spans traditional, contemporary, and contextual approaches to making and understanding art. I’ve taught learners of all ages and enjoy helping students develop technical skills while also exploring ideas, culture, personal expression, and different ways of seeing the world.
